This kit is to make 1 beautiful sashiko pocket.  Perfect for tablets, as a clutch bag, small purse, you could even add your own strap for use as a shoulder bag.  A sashiko design is sewn onto one side of the bag, which is then made with a complementary patterned lining fabric and a hand made flower clasp which can be positioned where ever you choose, making this a lovely versatile piece. 

This kit comes with a choice of 2 sashiko patterns. Designs will vary between kits but will contain one of the two patterns featured in the photograph.  Fabrics and thread colours in the kits vary and we cannot guarantee the colours supplied. Do email us if you have a particular request and we will do our best to accommodate you preferences.

Kit contains; 1/8 Japenese sashiko cotton, 1/8 Japanese patterned cotton, fabric for blossom fastner, instructions, choice of 2 sashiko designs, carbon paper, sashiko thread and needle.

You will need 6"/12cm ribbon or cord, a few small beads or decorative button, small amount of polyster stuffing or cotton balls and the option to use light weight wadding if you wish for a thicker pocket..
